Ma leidsin ühe mõnusa loo blogist "ilus elu"
the smile.

once upon a time there lived a smile. bright and shining she was. wherever the smile looked, appeared beauty. beauty seemed to be everywhere. soft and transparent clouds were very elegant when they transformed their shape, the wind was soft and gentle while whispering the singing words of a universe, the snow crystals melted on the nose tickling and making her laugh. the whole nature played the most wonderful rhythms along. and the smile laughed from the joy and happiness. so much she liked the universe of a smile. soon she discovered that plants and trees were the most gentle kind of beings. when it was raining, the trees bowed to cover her head, and when there was aridity, the leaves helped her to feel the words of the wind, they gave her food and caresses. the sun and stars were her friends, she smiled and they smiled back. that’s how the smile lived.

soon the smile discovered that there were other beings on the planet she lived. there were every kind of types of beings. some of them where visual, some of them transparent and some did not appear in any kind of a form. but they were all different. there was nothing that reminded the smile. after a while the smile started to feel quite lonely. since she didn’t meet any other smiles she realized there were no other smiles in a world. the smile was the only one. she felt sad and smiled less and less. at last she started to walk around the world and look for another her kind. she walked upon the hills and walked in the deepest of forests, took a journey in the desert and went to the jungle. there was no one smiling where she looked. finally she reached the river. she took a bow and mirrored herself. it made her smile. she saw the river and the river smiled back. it was beautiful. she laughed, so joyful it was. but then she remembered that there were no other smiles in the world and started to cry.

it seemed that the smile was melting away into the river flow. but the flow went ahead. the flow never stops, it keeps flowing as far as it goes and as long as it takes. the smile still remembered the warm and soft feeling of the beauty of the universe and she smiled every time she thought of it. slowly slowly she started to feel dizzy in the water and fell into the deepest dream until she was almost gone drop by drop in the river that ran further and further.

time passed by and she was still flowing ahead. the river was gentle and carried her along. after a while in the deepest sleep she saw again the days full of laughter and sunshine and she smiled in her dream. at that very moment the river arrived to the ocean. some dolphins and whales around recognized the smile in her dreaming smile and they smiled back, but the smile was sleeping and couldn’t see it

ocean waves brought the small drops of the smile far as they reached. soon the drops of the smile were everywhere in the water and the whole water was smiling. suddenly through the transparent water the smile saw something very familiar, something that felt exactly as back then when she looked in the river. she thought she was still in her dream and remembered the feeling when she was still the small smiling smile and remembered soft whispers of the wind, laughing dance of the raindrops and tickling snow crystals on the nose. the ocean wave that carried her landed on the beach full of corals and white sand. suddenly she woke up. there was another smile looking at her. and she understood that the stars did smile always back, but it was never the reflex of hers as she thought, it was always another smile. two smiles looked at each other, smiled and started to laugh. and the stars laughed with them.
